Howdy RSS Pingers,

I'm a member of the Community Server team and I would love to add RSS Ping
to the next version of Community Server Blogs. However there doesn't seem to
be much in the way of info or examples around the net other than what's at
rssping.com.

So I have a few questions if someone would be kind enough to help:

1. Is Ping-O-Matic the only ping service that currently supports RSS Ping? 

2. If not, does it send out RSS Pings to other RSSPing-compliant services?

3. What is the XML-RPC method name for a RSS Ping call?

4. Does anyone have an example XML document for a RSS Ping with multiple 
categories/tags?

I believe that the biggest flaw in the RSS ping model is that spam and
load issues are problems with standard ping, let alone ping carrying a
payload. Raises a whole heap of issues (DoS attacks etc.).

I am also keen to hear an update. There seemed to be a big
announcement and then nothing else. I know Matt is busy with a whole
heap of things but is there anybody else who is running with this?
